About Me

I am an Emmy and Peabody award-winning Producer at CNN Heroes. I create short-form documentaries about ordinary people doing extraordinary work. From pre-production, field producing, shooting, to scripting and editing, I am at the helm of every aspect of the pieces I produce.

Many of the pieces I work on revolve around sensitive subject matter and are filmed in challenging locations. I’ve filmed in prisons, hospices, and down roaring rivers to name a few locations. I’ve become adept at knowing what my subjects need to feel comfortable and at ease, all while leading a team of cinematographers and audio engineers. I am also equally passionate about post production and carefully crafting a story that evokes emotion and has the power to create change.

Before joining CNN Heroes, I worked with CNN's Business News team, where I worked on daily live updates on the stock market. I've also interned with CNN's Christiane Amanpour and ABC's Brian Ross.

In 2010, I graduated from Caldwell University with a BA in Communications and Journalism. Currently, I am working toward a MA in Communications and Media Studies from Rutgers University to further enhance my skills.

I’m always interested in hearing from former colleagues, managers, or just interesting creative folk, so feel free to contact me if you’d like to connect.
